“You aren’t gonna get a booty like this by sitting on the one you’ve got” - lol I love this saying cuz it always kicks me into gear!
To build a perky, tone butt, you have to put in the work (especially if you’re not gifted with one naturally). Many women mistakenly skip the most important exercises, and instead focus solely on the butt blaster machine and other isolation exercises. Do not leave out the extremely important compound exercises such as squats, deadlifts and lunges!! These compound exercises require not just the glutes, but the activation of the quads and hamstrings as well! Not to mention, compound exercises BURN MORE CALORIES than isolation exercises!
For maximum results, include BOTH compound AND isolation exercises! Start your workouts with a warm-up, then move into the heavy compound exercises. Once you’ve completed those, burn out the muscles using isolation exercises like cable kickbacks =)
Don’t be afraid to go heavy! Women don’t have the levels of testosterone necessary to bulk up like men do… just make sure you are using proper form to avoid injury! =)
Simple Ab Medley:
- 30 crunches (on stability ball)
- 30 leg raises (with ball between feet)
- 30 regular crunches (feet on the ball)
- 30 second plank
Repeat 3-5x
Remember though that “abs are made in the kitchen”! No amount of crunches is going to “give you abs” if you have a layer of body fat hiding them! Eat clean and reduce your body fat to reveal all your hard work underneath! Do this by eating clean in a caloric deficit (don’t starve), lift weights and do cardio! =)

MUSCLE is what gives you “tone” and definition. I see so many girls who are willing to do thousands of crunches, but avoid strength training any other parts of their body. In addition to tone, muscle increases your resting metabolic rate, making your body burn more calories throughout the day. The more muscle you have, the easier it is to lose body fat as well!
Weight training, despite what many girls seem to believe, will not make you manly or bulky. Women do not have the levels of testosterone necessary to build muscle like a man. It takes women bodybuilders YEARS of force feeding and steroids to get as big and muscular as they do.. it doesn’t happen by accident!Build and maintain your muscle by eating a source of lean protein at every meal. Lift weights up to 6 times a week. Get plenty of water and sleep. Weights are your friend girls, not your enemy!
“LADIES: What burns more fat? Running on the treadmill or 1/2 hr of weights?
Answer: Running will burn more calories at the moment (perhaps 300 calories for 1/2 hour) but a 1/2 hour of weight training will suck up more calories thoughout the day because the body needs to recover from muscle break down. In addition, the more muscle you have the more your body will metabolize fat and increase your caloric effectiveness.”
